Great piece David. It’s already almost difficult NOT to use generative AI on some level. It’s built into phones, browsers, right into Facebook…etc.
I am rather astonished by the rapid uptake, as I suspect most are. I don’t think we have much choice either. Business and individuals are going to need to use these tools or get quickly left behind.
At first, I was wondering if the topline results were largely due to the embedding your mention, but the "how you use it" data suggests maybe it's "real" engaged AI use after all, no?

The BLS is nonpartisan, careful, and methodologically rigorous. They have a clear mandate and they execute it faithfully.
